Early Child Development Center Resources
FAQs
Our Early Child Development Center is for children ages 18 months to 6 years.
The ECDC program runs from 8am to 12pm daily.
ECDC sessions are run much like a preschool, with a low staff to student ratio. We have a teacher who will run groups, create lessons and plan themes. ECDC sessions will have a balance between structured group activities and independent self exploration. The primary objective of the ECDC is to prepare children with the pivotal skills needed for general education while simultaneously meeting the individual needs of each child.
Because our center is inclusive, it offers opportunities for peers to learn from each other. Children model communication, play skills, appropriate group behavior, and emotional expression. With peer modeling, children learn these behaviors quicker than if taught by an adult. Children in this setting are also learning compassion, empathy and good leadership skills.
