Ananya graduated from Rice University in 2025 with her bachelor’s in Psychology. A Colorado native, she cherished her time in Houston while often finding moments of joy exploring Pearl Street with her closest friends when back home.

Before joining the team at Wild Sun, Ananya pursued opportunities that deepened her interest in the biopsychosocial model of health. At Rice’s Biosciences Research Collaborative, she worked in the Biobehavioral Mechanisms Explaining Disparities (BMED) Lab, where she studied the health effects of Alzheimer’s caregiving. She also mentored refugee teenagers through a youth program, supporting them with English lessons, homework help, and college applications. These experiences nurtured her passion for developmental psychology and for helping people thrive from the very start.

Currently pursuing her RBT certification, Ananya is excited to learn how to best encourage the growth of the children at Wild Sun. Her goal is to cultivate a welcoming space of empathy, understanding, and resilience while approaching challenges with patience and clarity.

Some of her hobbies include volunteering at the Children’s Hospital Colorado, hiking Colorado’s trails, practicing Indian classical dance, and working out.
