Becca is originally from Indiana, where she attended Butler University for her Bachelors of Arts. After graduating, she had an opportunity to work at a camp for kids and adults with disabilities in the Santa Cruz Mountains where she fell in love with the behavior analysis field and neurodivergent community.
Becca originally worked as a behavior therapist for a company in California before going back for her masters and ABA coursework to become a BCBA. While working on her masters, she was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work as a program supervisor at a company that incorporated both behavior analysis and mental health, which helped expand her view of how to apply behavior services in a novel way.
In 2019, Becca moved to Colorado and obtained her BCBA certification. After working in the early intervention realm as a BCBA for over a year, Becca went into private practice to have more freedom to implement behavior services with kids, adults, and families. It became quickly apparent that Becca’s true passion was working with adults when she began incorporating behavior services in a day program setting and realized the vast potential for adult services.
Becca hopes to create a more positive and inclusive model of adult services that provides a range of accessible and meaningful supports in all settings. When she’s not working or talking about her passion for adult services, Becca loves to read a good book, cuddle with her cat, Walter, host friends at her place, get out in nature, and go to brunch.
