Miya was born and raised in Broomfield, Colorado. She joined the world of ABA at the end of 2020 and grew very passionate about the field.

 

Miya received her Associate’s degree in Psychology from Front Range Community College and will be receiving her BS in Psychology with a minor in Human Development. She will then begin graduate school to earn her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and Counseling. Her end goal is to own a private practice and continue to help individuals become the best versions of themselves.

 

Miya loves going on adventures, whether that’s traveling, find a new hike in the mountains, camping, or kayaking. She loves art, such as painting, making dream catchers, sculpting with wire, and taking pottery classes. In her free time she loves taking her dog, Koda, on hikes or walks, spending time with family and friends, listening to music, learning to play a new song on the ukulele, or cooking.
