Steve received his BCBA certification in March 2021 but has been in the field for nearly 20 years, obtaining his BS (2004) and MA (2006) in Psychology. Steve has most recently worked as a program director / behavioral staff for an adult Host Home program in Colorado. In 2015 he relocated from Pennsylvania where his experience involved 12 years as a Mental Health Professional working with foster children in Host Homes/residential programs, creating community programs, beginning an independent living program, conducting trainings, supporting adoption preparation, and teaching social/life skills. 

Steve has experience training staff and providers in areas such as utilizing effective coping skills, emotion regulation, crisis management, Person Centered Planning, and Trauma Informed Care. Steve has mentored families to reunify, helped children transition into adulthood, and trained parents on recognizing small successes in children’s lives. Steve was also a yoga teacher for several years and has experience as a piano teacher.

In his free time Steve enjoys listening to music, going to concerts, playing music, working on home projects, hiking, rafting and spending time outside.
