Carsyn was born and raised in South Louisiana, where she attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and graduated with a degree in psychology in 2020 and has been in the field of ABA since. She graduated from Capella University with her Masters degree in Psychology in September of 2023. 

Carsyn is passionate about promoting assent-based practices when working with clients and ensuring that a client’s ABA experience is fun and beneficial to their growth and development. She plans to return to school to obtain her PhD to be able to contribute to research that will benefit the field of ABA. 

In her free time, she enjoys taking her cats on walks, PC gaming, cooking Cajun dishes, crafting, playing Dungeons and Dragons with friends, and attending renaissance festivals. 

Fun facts: she can speak French, solve a Rubik’s Cube, and used to have a pet alligator!
