Makenzie was born and raised in Frederick, Colorado. She started working as a nanny which prompted her to pursue a degree in education. She graduated from Fort Hays State University with a BA in Elementary Education in 2021. During this time she found her passion for working with children with special needs. 

She is currently pursuing her RBT certification and hopes to begin her master’s program in Special Education and Applied Behavioral Analysis in the fall to become a BCBA.

In her free time Makenzie enjoys traveling and experiencing new places and spending time with friends and family. She enjoys hiking, watching sports, and hanging out with her two dogs.
