Born and raised in Colorado, Sam has always had a heart for helping others. She got her start at Colorado State University, earning a degree in Health and Exercise Science. It was during a CSU internship working with at-risk youth that everything clicked—she realized her true passion was working with kids.

Since then, she’s spent years gaining experience with everyone from toddlers to adults, embracing the unique stories and backgrounds each person brings to the table.

Right now, Sam is keeping plenty busy. She’s currently working toward her RBT certification while also tackling a Master’s degree to become a licensed therapist.

Her big dream? To specialize in animal-assisted therapy, combining her clinical skills with her deep love for the four-legged friends that help us heal.

If you’re looking for Sam and she isn’t buried in grad school textbooks, you’ll likely find her outside. She’s a huge animal lover (who might have a slight habit of “accidentally” bringing new ones home) and spends much of her time riding horses or walking her dogs. To unwind, she loves getting her hands dirty in the garden, trying out a new recipe in the kitchen, or keeping up with the never-ending list of chores that come with a life full of animals.
